niji ink
niji is Japanese for rainbow, symbolising colour and ink represents the artistic nature.
This brand combines our love of colour, creativity and all things kawaii to design and build one of a kind, handmade pieces
We are based in Sydney, Australia and all our pieces are hand crafted with love in our home.
Fun fact, "niji ink" contains 7 letters.. coincidentally the same as the number of colours in the rainbow ;o
Channy
Channy is the creative flare (right brain) behind the brand.
From young, she's always exhibited a creative side through her drawings, paintings, crafts, digital designs.. even her hair is a work of art!
Inspired by disney, anime, nature and colour, she endeavours to create stunning designs at niji ink.
Paul
Paul is the technical mind (left brain) behind the brand.
With a background in chemical science, he's always had a curiosity for different chemical compositions and reactions.
He's the man behind the research and experimentation of techniques and materials that go into the beautiful creations at niji ink.
Our little helpers
Yoshi
Yoshi is a source of inspiration with his brightly coloured feathers.
He occasionally likes to add his unique touch to designs by landing on them during the drying process.
Kyuubi
Kyuubi provides his own input into art works by embedding handcrafted thin, white strands to create a custom texture in the pieces.
If you receive a piece of art with these fine, white fibres, know this is Kyuubi's contribution and there by design.
Beemo
Part of the QA team, she often inspects both finished pieces and raw art materials.
These are occasionally expelled as a new form of art, however, we don't distribute this unique form of artistry as they are too "precious"
